Dr. Jason Bell

Senior Pastor

Dr. Bell joined our staff as the Associate Pastor in August 2010 and was elected Senior Pastor in February 2015.  Jason announced his call into the ministry in 2002 and was ordained in 2005.  Prior to joining the staff at Nazareth he served 3 years as a Youth Pastor and 3 years as a Bivocational Pastor.

Jason is a Liberty University graduate with a B.S. in Religion, masters degrees in Theology and Biblical Studies and a doctorate in Biblical studies.  He has been married to his wife Amber since March 1997.  They have two children Jacey Gilbert (Josh), and Noah.  They recently welcomed the birth or their first grandchild, MakLee.

Worship Pastor

Robert has been leading worship at Nazareth since October, 2011.  As a teenager, he and his parents attended church here (they still do), then in 2002 he announced his call into the ministry and began serving as the Music Director at Happy Home Baptist Church in Henagar, AL then later at Brashers Chapel Church in Albertville, AL before coming back to Nazareth.

ethan jones

Youth Pastor

Ethan and his wife Victoria previously served as youth leaders at Nazareth before stepping into the Youth Pastor roll in 2019.  Ethan teaches History and coaches football at Geraldine High School and they recently celebrated the birth of their first child. 

kathy higdon

Secretary

Kathy has served faithfully as our church secretary since 1992.  She and her husband Jim enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.  Kathy is a gifted photographer, and many of the pictures on our website were captured through her lens.
